School Life

Trumpington Community College is a brand new state of the art 11-16 secondary school in the City of Cambridge.  The school is situated near Long Road in the ongoing development at Trumpington in the south of the city.  We currently cater for Year 7, 8, 9 and Year 10 students, eventually leading to full capacity of 750 students in 2020.

The school has excellent teaching resources and sports facilities thus ensuring that our students have the best possible opportunity to succeed. We are also fortunate in having a passionate team of experienced teachers and support staff who are dedicated to ensuring that every child fulfils their potential. We are delighted to be working closely with Cambridge Academic Partnership – a partnership of community schools which aspire to be local lifelong learning centres of excellence.

Trumpington students are required to participate in a wide range of compulsory extracurricular activities each week including sport, the arts, languages, science and charity work.

It is a privilege to be Head of School at Trumpington Community College and I look forward to seeing the school grow, flourish and make a significant contribution to the local community in the coming years.

Tours of the school are available each week. Please contact Sue Fanning, PA to the Headteacher, or 01223 551606 to arrange a visit.
