School Life

Thank you for showing an interest in Trumpington Community College. We are a proud member of the Cambridge Academic Partnership of schools, part of United Learning Trust.

Trumpington Community College is a popular community school located on the southern edge of Cambridge. The school is small currently as we continue to expand from our first opening in 2015. Even when full, the school will still be smaller than most, supporting our ethos to know every child and care for them well. We are all very proud of the successes shown by our students. Our success, however, is built on far more than academic achievement. We are passionate about developing our students as inquisitive and independent learners. We seek to inspire our students to develop the skills and habits of mind to enable them develop as articulate and confident young people, able to take the best advantage of life. We are committed to offering a broad and enriching curricular and extracurricular experience for our students including opportunities for leadership and community service, and every student is encouraged to take part.

Our relatively new state-of-the-art building offers excellent facilities both for our staff and students, and our local community. The environment we have is designed to support our students’ learning to be the very best it can be. We have a strong team of staff and specialist staff, all of whom work passionately, tirelessly and relentlessly to ensure the best for our young people. We want to bring out the best in everyone and we are prepared to work very hard to do so.

I am proud to be the Headteacher of such a dedicated and committed school and I look forward to seeing the school grow further, flourish and make a significant contribution to the local community in the coming years.

Do come and see us: you are welcome to book a tour of the school on Fridays at 11.00am. Please contact the school on (+44) (0)1223 551600 or email us using
