Health and Mental Wellbeing Project

Staff from each of our schools have completed the Health and Mental Wellbeing Project through Yoga and Meditation. They completed the training (trained by a qualified Yoga and Meditation Instructor) and delivered a supported 6 week training block to a group of selected students. They attended the training after school (8 weeks) and then delivered the Yoga sessions in their own time during Lunchtime or after school.

We are looking forward to being able to offer this as a club once we return to school. This will help students to secure clear relaxation and stress relief strategies through physical activity. Students can use these strategies to enhance wellbeing.

Who we are

Trumpington Community College is a relatively new state of the art 11-16 secondary school in the City of Cambridge.

The school has excellent teaching resources and sports facilities. We are also fortunate in having a passionate and dedicated team of experienced teachers and support staff: we strive to bring out the best in everyone. We work closely with Cambridge Academic Partnership – a partnership of community schools which aspire to be local lifelong learning centres of excellence – and United Learning Trust.

We encourage all our students to participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities each week including sport, the arts, languages, STEM and charity work.

Tours of the school are available each week. Please contact us using enquiries@cap.eduation or 01223 551600 to arrange a visit.
